Known for their atmospheric and instrumental sound\, they played a crucial role in shaping the desert rock and stoner rock scenes. Their music blends psychedelic\, surf\, and post-rock elements\, creating a hypnotic and expansive sonic landscape. \nOriginally an underground jam band\, Yawning Man inspired bands like Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age. Despite their early influence\, they only released their debut album\, Rock Formations\, in 2005. Since then\, they have continued to evolve and release music\, with albums like Nomadic Pursuits (2010) and Macedonian Lines (2019) showcasing their unique style. The band is known for their improvisational live performances\, often playing in open desert spaces\, embodying the true spirit of the genre. \nSoftSun was formed in 2023 by Gary Arce (Yawning Man)\, Pia Isaksen (PIA ISA) and Dan Joeright (Earth Moon Earth). Known for their extreme and blasphemous themes\, Profanatica is one of the earliest black metal acts in the U.S. scene and is considered a key influence on the development of the American black metal sound. \nThe band’s music is characterized by raw production\, primitive riffs\, and relentless blast beats\, embodying the early spirit of the genre. Profanatica is known for pushing boundaries with their deliberately controversial imagery\, lyrics\, and performances that often include anti-Christian symbolism and themes of desecration and blasphemy. \nTheir debut release\, “Putrescence of… ” (1990)\, along with their early demos\, established them as one of the first U.S. black metal bands to gain underground notoriety. In 1992\, they released the EP « Weeping in Heaven »\, which solidified their reputation as one of the more confrontational and unrelenting bands in the scene. \nThe group initially disbanded in 1992 after releasing a few seminal works but reformed in the early 2000s with Paul Ledney at the helm\, releasing their first full-length album « Profanatitas de Domonatia » in 2007. Subsequent albums like « Disgusting Blasphemies Against God » (2010)\, « Thy Kingdom Cum » (2013)\, and « Rotting Incarnation of God »(2019) \, ‘Crux Simplex’ (2023) have maintained their standing as a cornerstone of blasphemous black metal\, staying true to their early sound and vision. \nIn  April 2025 \, they will release  their new album Wreathed in dead angels. \nProfanatica’s legacy is significant in the extreme metal community for being both one of the earliest black metal bands in America and for maintaining an uncompromising artistic direction for over three decades.\n\n\n\n  \nSpiter \nIt was but the summer of 2022 when SPITER burst from the fucking grave with their debut\nalbum for HELLS HEADBANGERS\, Bathe the Babe in Bats’ Blood. Featuring members of\nlabelmates SHITFUCKER and Devil Master\, the power-trio made plain – and vulgar – their\ninfernal & infectious True Vampyric Metal Punk: a raw-yet-anthemic blend of cult blackthrash\, obscure hardcore punk\, and even the wildest deathrock. The album sowed its seeds of sanguine depravity and SPITER took their madness on the road\, cementing their cult status immediately.\nNow\, the deviants of SPITER return with a ripping new mini-album\, Enter the Gates of Fucking Hell. This six-song / 26-minute recording sees the lineup scaled back to vocalist / guitarist / songwriter Richard Spider (Daemon Bitch of SHITFUCKER) and drummer Snake (Disjawn) .\nThey continue to be a trio for live purposes – and remarkably shows even more fire and focus than that not-inconsiderable debut album. Tormentor performed 50-100 live shows between 1986–1990 and became one of the most infamous bands in Hungary. On the strength of his work in Tormentor\, he was invited to perform vocals on the De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas album by Norwegian black metal band Mayhem after lead singer Dead committed suicide. His groundbreaking new way of singing added a special character to Mayhem’s sound. \nHe is a « shadow » member of the American doom/drone metal band Sunn O))). His first live performance with the band happened on 24 March 2003 at Stadtwerkstatt in Linz\, Austria. His first recorded collaboration with the band was in 2004 when he sang in Sanskrit language on  their album White2. He has recorded five full-length albums with the group\, including the very successful Monoliths & Dimensions\, and performed live with the band on their worldwide tours hundreds of shows. \nIn 2004\, Csihar rejoined Mayhem after the departure of Maniac\, the band’s previous vocalist. Their 2007 album\, Ordo ad Chao\, won the Spellemannprisen (also known as the Norwegian Grammy). Since then the band has embarked upon intense international touring. \nIn 2008 he also joined another project\, Gravetemple with Stephen O’Malley of Sunn O))) and Oren Ambarchi. \nCsihar started his solo act in November 2008\, called Void ov Voices. His live performances have been in support of artists like Ulver on their first European tour\, Bohren & der Club of Gore\, Lustmord\, Ruin and Diamanda Galas. He performed at « The Grand Reincarnation » Of Paul Booth’s Last Rites Gallery & Tattoo Theatre. He also toured in Japan and performed during the Mofo festival in Tasmania. \nHe has collaborated with artists such as Current 93\, Jarboe\, Dissection\, Emperor\, Taake\, Ulver\, and Banks Violette. \nIn 2019 he formed an esoteric noise project called Hiedelem with drummer/percussionist Balázs Pándi (Merzbow\, Keiji Haino). \n  \nIggor Cavalera \nIggor Cavalera (born September 4\, 1970\, in Belo Horizonte\, Brazil) is a Brazilian musician. Along with older brother Max Cavalera\, he is a founding member of the Brazilian thrash metal band Sepultura. Igor is now the drummer for Cavalera Conspiracy\, Soulwax\, Petbrick and other projects. Cavalera is one half of the DJ duo Mixhell\, a project he founded with his wife\, Laima Leyton\, in 2006. \nIggor started playing drums at a very young age. In the first albums\, his drumming was chaotic\, following the thrash norms of the ’80s. However\, his innovative style in the album Chaos A.D. brought tribal elements into the songs. Cavalera has been widely recognised as a notoriously hard-hitting heavy drummer throughout his career. Although drumming has been his main activity since the ’80s\, Iggor has always experimented with electronic instruments such as drum machines and synthesisers. He is also a music producer and experimental artist. \nSince 2004\, Iggor has been DJing and producing electronic music. As Mixhell\, he has toured the globe\, performing in festivals such as Glastonbury\, Bestival\, and Reading. In 2013\, Iggor moved to London with his family and\, in 2016\, joined the Belgian band Soulwax\, recording drums for their album “From Deewee” and touring as part of “Transient Program for Drums and Machinery.” Soon after\, he founded “Petbrick” with Wayne Adams – a project that involved melting noise and crushing electronics over grinding drumming. In 2017\, Iggor started building his personal studio with Laima by collecting gear and synthesisers and producing their own music\, remixes\, and soundtracks as well as collaborating with other artists. Around 2019\, he started collecting modular synthesisers to compose ethereal\, atmospheric\, experimental drone music\, to which he added rhythm through drum machines and live drums. \nIggor has been performing live with analogue modular gear\, drum pads and visuals for intimate crowds at experimental festivals such as Dio Drone (Florence) and clubs such as Cafe Oto and Iklectik (London). His latest releases include “Aural Manifestations” on Damian Records in America and Deepthroat Records in Europe and “Alucinações Sônicas” on Hospital Productions.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
